for edition information please contact the firstname.lastname@example.orgWhile engaged by the aviary imagery, Ms. Keller does not seek to document the animal world. Instead, she concentrates on momentary fragments of time, on the expressionistic feeling imposed by all aspects of flight. The viewer is initially engaged by these formally beautiful compositions and then held by the aesthetic cadence of one to another in this series. The artist not only captures the moment, but also captures the sense of floating and gliding, the sense of imagined self in a world that occurs just inside our peripheral vision.
